Jawshan

Privacy Policy

Effective 1 October 2026

In short
  • Jawshan does not collect any personal information.
  • The app has no internet access, no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting.
  • The only things it saves are your reading preferences, and they stay on your phone.

This policy explains how the Jawshan Android app (“Jawshan”, “the app”), developed by Aizon.me (“we”), handles your information.

Information the app uses

The text of the Jawshan al-Kabir and the recitation audio are built into the app. To remember how you like to read, the app saves:

The app does not collect your name, email, location, contacts, photos, messages, device identifiers or any identifiers for advertising.

Where the information is stored

These preferences are stored only in the app’s private storage on your phone. Jawshan does not request internet access, so it cannot send anything to us or anyone else. We have no servers and no way to see how you use the app.

Backups

If Android backup is turned on for your phone, Android may include the app’s preferences in your device backup in your Google account, so they can be restored on a new phone. This backup is managed by Android and Google, not by us, and you can turn it off in your phone’s settings.

Permissions

Jawshan does not ask for any permissions. Audio is played from files inside the app.

Deleting your data

To remove the saved preferences, open Android Settings → Apps → Jawshan → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app. Since we don’t hold any of your data, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side.

Children

Jawshan does not collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
